No jazzy title today. Instead a few quotes from a favorite childhood book that is part of a super undercover project that will be in my Etsy shop very soon.
Anne of Green Gables
“Marilla, isn’t it nice to think that tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet?”
“Isn’t it splendid to think […]

today in the studio

I’d like to thank Kelly from bussbuss.com for including my Ode to Breakfast at Tiffanys prints today! I’ve met via email so many people who, like me, are fans of the film*. How cool is the internet.

So I bought this giraffe sculpture…
August 5th, 2008 · No Comments

You did.
Why?
Because you rock.*
There’s nothing like working on orders and getting ready for Brooklyn this weekend while watching classic music videos.
*I am silly tired and have not had enough caffeinated beverages. Forgive me for my corniness.

a mug of a mug
June 4th, 2008 · No Comments
This was a painting I did of my former favorite coffee/tea mug. “Former”, because it soon fell of my countertop the next day. It was a good cup. Never complained. Brightened my mornings*. I tried glue but nothing worked. The head of the horse**, which was the handle, broke off and wouldn’t hold.
I have […]
